Street- food:Chicken kebab - Pileći kebab

Nowadays the street food is present all over the Balkan, it's well known that the most of young people prefer it to homemade meals. Maybe the most frequent one in Europe are Kebab, both in Turkish and Indian quality. Considering that Balkan kitchen is full of Ottoman dishes, coming from the tradition, I have chosen the Indian, lighter version, with chicken and spices. In my language is called Pileći kebab. This is for sure a better way to eat something similar to fast food, but much healthier.

For the chicken kebab you need:

- a few flatbreads - 1 yellow pepper - 2 tomatoes - 200g mushrooms - 3 spoons yogurt - 2 spoons mayonnaise - 1 leek - 1 can of corn (80g-100g) - 350g chicken

-a bit of oil

-salt and pepper

-a splash of lemon

Preparation:

Start with cutting all vegetables in small pieces. First put the oil in the pan, then add leek or onion and fry it a bit. After that add mushrooms with yellow pepper, and let it cook until the vegetable mix softens. In the end add sweet corn to the pan and let it cook a bit on a medium fire.

In another pan cook the chicken on a bit of oil until it gets nice and golden. Season with salt and pepper.

Make the salsa for kebab using a few spoons of mayonnaise and yogurt, a splash of lemon and a sprinkle of pepper. Cut tomatoes and make the kebab roll using flatbread. Enjoy in the unique flavor, guilt feeling free. ;)

 

U današnje vreme ulična hrana ili fast-food je prisutna svuda na Balkanu, dobro nam je poznato da je većina mladih ljudi više voli od domaćih kuvanih jela. Sigurno možemo da kažemo da je jedna od najrasprostanjenije ulične hrane u Evropi upravo kebab, bilo da je u pitanju Turski ili Indijski.

Ja sam izabrala da napravim svoju verziju indijskog kebaba, laganu varijantu, sa piletinom i začinima. Na Balkanu bi se ovo jelo zvalo Pieći kebab. Ovo je sigurno bolji način da se napravi jelo nalik brzoj hrani, koje je u svakom slučaju mnogo zdravije.

Za pileći kebab je potrebno:

Nekoliko tortilja - 1 žuta paprika - 2 paradajza - 200g pečuraka - 3 kašike jogurta - 2 kašike majoneza - 1 praziluk - 1 konzerva kukuruza (80g-100g) - 350g pilećeg mesa

-soli i bibera po ukusu

-malo ulja

-malo soka od limuna

Priprema:

Počnite sa seckanjem povrća na komadiće. U veći tiganj stavite ulje, pa dodajte sitno iseckan praziluk ili luk, zatim dodajte žutu papriku, pečurke i ostavite da se ukrčka. Na kraju dodati kukuruz šećerac i ostavite da se kuva još par minuta na umerenoj vatri. U drugom tiganju ispržiti pileće meso na malo ulja, dok piletina ne dobije lepu rumenu boju. Posolite i pobiberite po želji. Napravite salsu za kebab pomoću nekoliko kašika majoneza i jogurta, malo limunovog soka i malo bibera. Isecite paradajz na kolutove i napravite kebab sa tortiljama po vašem ukusu . Uživajte u ukusnom jelu bez griže savesti. ;)
