Wafer salty cake - Slana torta sa oblandama

This post is dedicated to all the cake lovers.

In Balkan it is common to make all sort of salty cakes, so I will show you which ones are the most popular. How about a wafer salty cake filled with three colorful cheese fillings? Delicious and very creative, at the same time :) But the most important: it's very unique.

Ingredients:

-1 package of wafers

-500g of ricotta cheese

-200g of cream cheese

-1 sour cream

-200g of mayonnaise

-250g of ham

-3 spoons of Ajvar (Red pepper's salsa, typical for Balkan. Instead you can use roasted red peppers)

-pickles as much as you need to cover the cake base

-200g of grated cheese ( I've used fontina, but you can use the one you prefer)

-200g of sesame seeds

-100g of sunflower seeds

-50g of pumpkin seeds

-black pepper

Preparation:

Divide ricotta and cream cheese into 3 equal cheese mixes.

To the first part of the cheese mix add roasted peppers, which you've cut as tiny as possible, and mix well. Then put the filling over a wafer base, and put the 2nd wafer over it.

For the next filling, roast a bit all the seeds in a pan, and when they're done add to the second cheese mix. Put it over the wafer, add slices of ham, and slices of pickles. Put a bit of sour cream over the pickles and cover with the 3rd wafer.

For the next filling add a bit of mayonnaise to the third cheese mix and a bit of black pepper, stir all well. Cover the wafer, again add the ham and the slices of pickles, covering with the last wafer. In the end combine the sour cream with a bit of mayonnaise and coat the whole cake.

Sprinkle the top of the cake with grated cheese, decorate it as you wish and leave it for at least 15 minutes in the fridge before serving. Enjoy!

 

Iskreno ne znam da li više volim slatke ili slane torte...za mene je to uvek večita dilema. :) U svakom slučaju uživam praveći oba tipa, to je sigurno. Ukoliko i vi volite slane torte onda je ovo pravi recept za vas. Slana torta sa oblandama lepa i na oko, a u isto vreme jako ukusna. Filovana je sa tri vrste sira, i obogaćena suhomesnatim po želji i kiselim krastavčićima. Naravno ovo je samo jedna od varijanti ove torte, vi možete dodati sve ono šta vam leži na duši. Da ne dužim više, evo recepta! ;)

Potrebno je:

-pakovanje oblandi

-500g sitnog sira

-200g krem sira

-1 pavlaka

-200g majoneza

-250g šunke ili pečenice

-po potrebi kiselih krastavčića

-200g kačkavalja

-malo bibera

-3 kašike ajvara

-200g pečenog susama

-100g pečenog suncokreta

-50g pečenih semenki bundeve

Priprema:

Sitni sir i krem sir podeliti na tri jednaka dela, pa u prvi deo sipati ajvar i sve lepo sjediniti. U drugi deo sipati pečene semenke, a u treći dodati malo majoneza i bibera po želji. (mogu se dodati i rendana barena jaja, ali nije neophodno). Postaviti prvu oblandu i premazati je prvim filom sa ajvarom. Preko ređati sledeću oblandu, dobro pritisnuti, pa staviti preko fil sa semenkama, zatim ređati šunku i kisele krastavce. Premazati sve sa malo pavlake i majoneza, pa staviti sledeću oblandu. Premazati sa poslednjim filom, pa opet ređati šunku i kisele krastavce, opet malo premazati pavlakom i poklopiti poslednjom oblandom. Na kraju premazati celu tortu mešavinom pavlake i majoneza. Od gore posuti rendanim kačkavaljem i staviti u frižider na min 15ak minuta pre služenja. Prijatno!
