Hummus with roasted bell peppers and garlic - Humus sa pečenom paprikom i belim lukom


So many of you were interested to find out how to make this incredible roasted bell peppers and garlicky hummus that it was obvious I had to write it down and publish as soon as possible. :)

Again, as the most of my recipes are, also this hummus is very easy to make and no time consuming!

I really enjoy making it, from classical and traditional recipe, but my favorite part when it comes to cooking is trying out new tastes and mixing spices, it gives me a thrill!! How about you? How often do you experiment in your kitchen? Write your answer down bellow in a comment box. ;)

Here is what you need to make it:

- 250g of chickpeas (I've used the ones in a can)

- a drizzle of olive oil

- a pinch of salt

- 2 cloves of garlic

- 2 medium roasted red peppers

- 100g of sesame seeds or if you have a few spoons of Tahini sauce

- a bit of cayenne pepper

Preparation:

Drain the chickpeas, wash them good with a cold water and then put them in a medium pot with a bit of water. Cook them approximately 10 minutes and when they're done drain them well and put in a food processor. Add a pinch of salt, olive oil, garlic and pealed peppers. Grind everything.

If you have Tahini sauce you can skip this step, but if not, here is how to have the same effect:

In a small pan heat the sesame seeds until they start getting golden brown color.

Finally add toasted sesame seeds in a food processor and grind everything nicely until you have uniform mixture.

Place it in a bowl, add a bit of olive oil, cayenne pepper as much as you want and enjoy!!

 

Pošto su mnogi od vas su bili zainteresovani da saznaju kako da naprave ovaj neverovatni humus sa pečenim paprikama i belim lukom, bilo je logično da napišem i objavim recept u najkraćem mogućem roku. :) Ponovo, kao i većina mojih recepata, ovaj humus je takođe vrlo lak za napraviti i to za jako kratko vreme! Uživam da pravim humus, počev od klasičnog po tradicionalnoj recepturi, ali moj omiljeni deo kada je u pitanju kuvanje je isprobavanje novih ukusa i mešanje začina!!

Evo šta je potrebno da se napravi: - 250g leblebija (ja sam koristio one u limenci) - malo maslinovog ulja - prstohvat soli - 2 čena belog luka - 2 srednje pečene crvene paprike - 100 g susama, ili ako imate, nekoliko kašika Tahini sosa

Priprema: Ocedite i operite leblebije pod mlazom hladne vode, pa ih stavite u šerpicu sa malo vode. Kuvajte ih oko 10 minuta, a kad su gotove dobro ih ocedite i stavite u multipraktik.

Dodajte prstohvat soli, malo maslinovog ulja, beli luk i oljuštene paprike. Sve dobro izmeljite.

Ako imate Tahini sos možete da preskočite ovaj korak, ali ako nemate, evo saveta kako možete postići isti efekat: U malom tiganju zagrejati susam sve dok ne porumeni. Na kraju dodati prepečene semenke susama u multipraktik i sve lepo sameljite dok se ne dobije jedinstvena mešavina poput paštete.. Sipajte gotov humus u činiju, dodajte malo maslinovog ulja i ljute papričice po želji i uživajte!!
